You are going to work in the morning from Monday to Friday (from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm). The afternoons as well as the weekends are devoted to a variety of recreational and discovery activities. Depending on the position of the site (seaside, mountainside, rural areas), on your likes and dislikes, the educational supervisor will offer you a program of activities where culture, heritage, sport and nature will be equally represented.

Hiking and climbing, whitewater rafting and mountainbike tours, visits to the nicest villages, concerts will be great occasions for you to explore the provencal region. Participating in a summer workcamp means discovering new activities and learning how to create by one’s own hands in a spirit of tolerance, while respecting the rules of community life as regards daily routine and the sharing of everyday tasks. With your contribution, we can assure that your stay is respect.

On each one of the different sites, you will work in groups of 10 to 14. 

• In each workcamp there will be a technician specialized in renovation of constructed patrimony, responsible for the works on the site. 
• Everyday life and programming of activities is under the responsability of an educational supervisor having a national degree in this field. You will participate along with him or her in the organisation of a schedule of leisure activities as well as material needs for the group (shopping, meals, and upkeep). 
During your entire stay, the transportation, housing, food and activities fees are accounted for by Alpes de Lumière.

Conditions are different according to workcamps : campgrounds, housing put to your disposition by the community. 
[Before leaving : 
• Take along used clothing and closed shoes for the pratical purpose of the worksite.
• Dont’t forget to bring a tent, a floor mat and a sleeping bag.
